Camera-ready instructions

Please submit the camera-ready version of your paper at the submission website by Monday, January 18, 2025, 11:59 PM Pacific Time.

Please note that substantial changes to the reviewed paper are not allowed, except for those that address specific reviewers’ comments and improve the paper. We reserve the option to use the accepted version of your paper if we feel that the updated version differs substantially from what was accepted.

You are allowed a total of 5 pages for your document. Up to 4 pages may contain technical content, figures, acknowledgment(s), and references, while the 5th page may contain only references. Acknowledgements must not be in the fifth page. Five is the maximum number of pages that will be accepted, including all figures, tables, and references. Please use the templates provided (with possible modification for the author list as noted below) in the Author Kit (https://2025.ieeeicassp.org/author-kit-instructions/). The templates conform with all margins, column widths, and line spaces.

Author List: The authors’ name(s) and affiliation(s) appear below the title in Title case (initial letter of each word in capital and rest of the word in lowercase letters). Papers with multiple authors and affiliations may require two or more lines for this information. The order of the authors on the document should exactly match in number and order the authors typed into the online submission form. The LaTeX template has instructions for listing one, two or three authors, and multiple (more than three) authors.

In case of space constraints, when the number of authors is 3 or more or when there are 3 or more different affiliations for authors, it is acceptable to list the author names with identifying marks (superscript numbers, for example) and then a legend below the name list with the respective affiliation descriptions. An example is shown below. The author list should not exceed the margins of the page.

\name{Author Name$^{\star \dagger}$ \qquad Author Name$^{\star}$ \qquad Author Name$^{\dagger}$}

\address{$^{\star}$ Affiliation Number One \\

$^{\dagger}$}Affiliation Number Two

Note:

  1. Paper title should be in title case.
  2. The author list must be the same as that at the time of submission of the paper. Changes are permitted only under exceptional circumstances with the approval of the TPC.
  3. Please do not put 1st, 2nd, etc. next to the author names.
  4. Author names, affiliation, and author order must be the same in the paper as in the metadata entered in the CMT system (and no authors should be missing on either).
  5. Only Latin characters must be used in the names and capitalized properly (the first letter of each word should be capitalized, with optional capitalization of the first letter after a hyphen).
  6. Documents should be formatted for standard letter-size (8-1/2″ by 11″ or 216 mm by 279 mm) paper. As you would have noticed during the paper submission stage, this year there is a change in format for the paper submission. The IEEE conference style has been adopted as this is the recommended format for IEEE conferences. Please use the templates provided for preparing your document. Please do not change the margins in the IEEE conference template.
  7. Camera-ready files will be checked by the conference organizers for compliance with the guidelines. Authors of papers that do not comply with these guidelines may be asked to update the formatting of their paper.

PDF eXpress: Authors must upload their paper to PDF eXpress (https://ieee-pdf-express.org) using the conference ID 49660X  (for satellite workshops use ID 65056X) prior to uploading it through CMT. This will generate an IEEE-compatible file for the conference proceedings and IEEE Xplore.

Copyright Form: Authors must also submit their copyright form to IEEE. There will be a link in the submission form which directs you to the electronic copyright form – please download the completed form and upload it to CMT.

All accepted papers must be presented in person at the conference. One author should register by Jan. 20, 2025 at the author registration rate and link their paper to the registered author. One registration at the author rate can cover up to four papers presented at ICASSP or its satellite workshops as long as the registrant is an author on all papers. Registration details, including information about  registration benefits and information about covering workshop papers, are available at: https://2025.ieeeicassp.org/registration/

Note: If you are registering as an author, you must select a non-student registration type to cover your paper. It is sufficient for one author of a paper to register at the author rate. Any co-authors attending can register using the non-author options. At least one author should plan to attend ICASSP in person to present the paper.

If a paper is not presented at the conference, the paper will not be published by IEEE on IEEE Xplore® or other public access forums, but these papers will be distributed to conference attendees as part of the “on-site conference proceedings” and IEEE will still maintain ownership of copyright for these papers.
