VISA INFORMATION
All potential attendees of ICASSP must submit passport details by Jan 20, 2025! Even if you are unsure if you will attend, you must complete your information by this date to maintain the proper timeline for visa processing.
The steps are outlined below:
- Visa Requirement: All foreign nationals need an Indian conference visa to attend the event.
- Submit Passport Details:
- If you haven’t already, submit your passport details via this link by January 20, 2025.
- If you encounter an error, securely email your details to visa@2025.ieeeicassp.org.
- Clearance Process:
- After receiving your passport details, the conference organizers will submit them to the relevant Indian ministries to obtain clearance and approval letters.
- Once approved, you’ll receive a visa invitation letter along with the necessary documents.
- Apply for a Conference Visa:
- E-Conference Visa: Submit the application online with the required documents. Approval will be emailed, and the visa will be stamped upon arrival at designated ports.
- Regular Conference Visa: Complete the online application, print it, and submit it with your passport and other documents to an Indian embassy or consulate. The visa will be stamped in your passport and returned.
- Designated Entry Points:
- You can arrive at any of the 31 e-Visa airports or 6 designated seaports listed in the document. Departure is allowed from any authorized Immigration Check Post in India.
- For Accompanying Family Members: Family members should apply for a tourist visa (regular or e-visa).
- Important Notes:
- Apply for a visa only after receiving the clearance letter, invitation letter, and other approvals from the organizers.
- Conference organizers will assist with the required documentation.
- Vaccinations are not required for the visa or for entry.
